Alchemie are expanding their addition cure silicone rubber range, and are pleased to announce the
following 2 products, that are now available:

RTV 232 - A low hardness addition cure silicone rubber with excellent clarity, low shrinkage, high

temperature resistance and excellent tensile and tear properties.

Key features:

- Excellent mechanical properties

- Low shrinkage

- Good mould release

- Excellent tensile and tear strength

This makes it very suitable for rapid prototyping (urethane casting/silicone tooling/vacuum casting) and
general mould making.

RTV 245 - A high tear strength addition cure silicone rubber used for the moulding of complicated
parts with precise dimensions, repetitive casting applications, ceramics, vacuum casting moulds and
general mould making.

Key features:

-40 Shore A Hardness

- Translucent

- High tear strength

- Styrene and PU resistance

- Very low shrinkage
