A four-year partnership with Warwick University Chemistry Department was the springboard to our development programme. This resulted in many advanced and hybrid systems that are continued by our in house team of polymer scientists today. Alchemie has adopted a forward thinking and innovative approach to addressing the needs of niche markets. A product range in excess of 250 different materials together with over a thousand formulations for many specialist applications. The unique nature of some of the products provide expanding options and challenge traditional thinking. Examples are a one-component electrically conductive adhesive for the microelectronics industry that eliminates complicated processing and machinery; and water clear UV stable material for rapid prototypes with very high heat stability. Part of the Company's growth year on year can be attributed to a philosophy of ensuring the business can react quickly in a fast moving market. This has been achieved by providing responsive, innovative products to meet customer needs, supplemented with a highly flexible approach and a speedy delivery of available products. The success of this private, wholly owned Company has resulted in enviable growth, requiring two major site moves. The latest was being the occupancy of the current modern office and production facility on our 2-hectare (5-acre) site in Kineton, Warwickshire. In addition to the success achieved in the U.K. Alchemie now supplies overseas markets via a distributor network in Australia, France, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Iran, India, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Russia and the Middle East. |
