Description
Sheetwax
Alchemix high temperature Sheetwax was developed for use with casting and laminating resins that either require or give off heat during curing. This Sheetwax is a scientific blend of materials that provides a flexible sheet that will melt at temperatures in excess of 126 deg C. Alchemie Sheetwax can be used as a material thickness in the forming of patterns or dies. The high temperature stability permits laminating or casting a hollow core in plastic. After the plastic has been cast around the wax and cured, the wax can be readily melted from the part.
PROPERTIES - Adhesive backed with pressure sensitive coating on one side. Ring ball softening range appx. 134 deg. C to 140 deg C.
Colour : Tan Flexibility : easily formed around tight compound curves (care should be taken when applying, that the wax thickness is not reduced).
